Boulevard Park Library

Boulevard Park Library was redesigned to meet the community's needs and bring light and space into the dark and cramped 1970s building. This renovation gave the children's collection even more room and teens their own seating area and work space. The lighting design included several layers of light. The direct/indirect fixtures used for ambient illumination throughout the space were selected for their low-glare louvers that created a quiet, evenly lit space without being distracting.  Additional layers of light defined spaces by highlighting seating areas and work stations with appropriate task lighting while also having a design presence.
