Seattle Public Library: Green Lake Branch
In 1905, a small reading room opened to serve the growing Green Lake community. Recognizing the need for a larger space, residents worked to secure funding. This led to the construction of the current Green Lake branch of the Seattle Public Library, which opened its doors in 1910.
The beautiful French Renaissance Revival building has served the neighborhood for over a century and remains an important community resource. Alongside the architecture team, Blanca intentionally honored the building's history with thoughtful lighting upgrades both on the interior and exterior. Thoughtful lighting solutions were added to blend seamlessly with its existing architectural style.
