Bellingham Federal Building

Bellingham Federal Building returns to its former beauty. The renovation gave new life to the building. The space was recognizable again to many who grew up going to the original post office. The project scope included system improvements, offices on the upper floors, and restoration of the original lobby and post office. Lighting in the historic lobby highlights architectural features and provides ambient illumination using historically appropriate fixtures exclusively. In the office, fixtures that would help define the character of the space are placed in the central skylight and give ambient lighting to the work spaces below.
