Lucrecia Blanco

Design Lead / Owner

A lighting designer with a background in theater arts and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois, Lucrecia has taught lighting design at Northern Illinois University and the University of Washington. With extensive experience in both theatrical and architectural lighting, Lucrecia founded Blanca Lighting Design in 2009.

A certified sustainable building advisor and LEED GA accredited, Lucrecia is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and serves on the board of On The Boards. Outside of work, she is passionate about animal welfare, volunteering for dog rescue organizations, and enjoys spending time with her son and practicing hot yoga.
